The Salvation Army although most known for its work with the homeless and those in need is first and foremost a Church, that puts showing the love of God at the heart of all we do. We are a diverse and welcoming community that believes that:

As a worshipping community we place God's word at the centre of who we are, welcoming all, and showing his love to a hurting world. We do this through worship, service, discipleship and evangelism.
Key Activities
Tuesday CAMEO
Come And Meet Each Other from 10am to 1pm in the Lochnivar Hall accessed at the rear of the building. We meet together and share in a varied activities before having a 2 course lunch together. Finishing our time with something for your soul. Cost £3

Wednesday Knitting Club & Coffee Morning
Come and get your knit on, open to people of all abilities, we have total beginners and those who have been knitting for years. While you're here enjoy a cuppa and a cake. Cost varies according to what refreshments we have.

Thursday Drop-in & Community Hub
Homeless, looking for work, having issues with debt or housing?
Why not drop in to our community hub and get housing advice, help with finding employment or benefits.

Wednesday-Saturday 10am-4.30pm Charity Shop
Looking for a bargain and a way to support our work with local people?
Come to our Charity Shop. We have a wide range of good quality second hand items available.

Volunteering
Have some extra time? Looking for a way to give back to the community? Why not try volunteering with us. All volunteers are supported and trained and we offer a wide range of opportunities:

Shop helper, sorters, advice workers, befrienders, kitchen assistant, programme support worker.

We are always looking for more volunteers, so if that is something that you are interested in we would love to hear from you.
